COMPOSITE WALL PANELS

Rainscreen Systems:

Americlad® Rainscreen systems are a dry joint system that is offered in a back ventilated or a pressure equalized configuration. We offer a caulk free design that is crisp, clean, and a very contemporary look.  These systems are designed to offer the ability to control the impact of wind driven rain and manage any water that may penetrate the wall system.  A weather barrier is required behind the composite panels to keep the building free of water damage.

Wet Joint Systems:

Americlad® Barrier wall systems are more of a traditional panel system that include a mechanically fastened clip attachment. They have exposed caulking at the panel joints, with back routed and plastic weld corners for weatherproofing of the panel system. Our AC-1000 and AC-1300 are both a wet joint system. The AC-1300 sliding clip eliminates the need to line up, clamp down, and fasten every clip on the panel by simply sliding the clip down the edge of the panel, this will save you time and money installing them in the field.

The Americlad® AC-1000 Composite Panel System is a barrier wall system manufactured from Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) or Metal Composite Material (MCM).

The system features a route-and-return fabrication method.  Americlad® AC-1000 system features include:

  • Formed and return flange and a slotted clip to accommodate expansion and contraction.

  • Wide variety of colors from the manufacturer's standard color selection.

  • Available in natural metals, including zinc, brushed aluminum, copper, and stainless steel.

  • Joints utilize a traditional backer rod and caulk system, which are field applied for a complete and sealed installation.

The AC-1200 285 is the ideal wall assembly for the progressive architect or owner who are mindful of the energy footprint they develop.

The AC-1200 285 stands out from the crowd with its Dry-Look panel system. With no exposed fasteners, our NFPA 285 tested and approved wall panel system performs just as good as it looks. Under laboratory conditions our exterior panel system withstood the replicated wind load in excess of 300 mph!

Americlad® AC-1200 285 system incorporates perimeter extrusion and clips system, other features include:

  • Available in Back Ventilated or Pressure Equalized Systems

  • Wide variety of colors from the manufacturer's standard color selection

  • LEED Eligible

  • Available in natural metals, including zinc, brushed aluminum, copper & stainless steel

  • System features our Dry-Look™ appearance with no exposed fasteners or caulking

  • NFPA 285 Tested and Approved!

The main premise of NFPA 285 is that it evaluates the performance of the ENTIRE wall assembly during fires and not a specific materials in the assembly.

To meet NFPA 285 for our wall assembly, the components must include:

  • AC-1200 285 panel system

  • Larson Composite Panel

  • Roxul Cavityrock Rigid Insulation

  • Henry Blueskin SA Air Barrier

NO EXPOSED FASTENERS!

Americlad AC-1200 EVO Composite dry joint panel system is a rainscreen panel system
The AC-1200 EVO is its 100% fastener free panel fave and perimeter.

The Americlad® AC-1200 Composite Dry Joint Panel System is a rainscreen panel system manufactured from Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) or Metal Composite Material (MCM) available with Pressure Equalized and Back Ventilated Options.

Under laboratory conditions the AC-1200 panel system withstood the replicated wind load in excess of 300 mph. Doing so was very important for increasing the structural integrity of the exterior surface of buildings.

The key element to our design is its 100% fastener free panel face and perimeter. With the absence of fasteners penetrating individual panels, this cladding system out-performs others in AAMA 508 and ASTM testing.

The AC-1200 incorporates a perimeter extrusion and clips with other features that include:

  • A wide variety of colors from the manufacturer's standard color selection

  • Availability in natural metals, including zinc, brushed aluminum, copper & stainless steel

  • Our Dry-Look™ appearance with no exposed fasteners or caulking

  • Choices between Back Ventilated or a Pressure Equalized System
