Americlad’s metal cladding and fabrication capabilities include backpan systems with galvanized G90 steel that can easily be formed to meet a wide range of opening sizes and specifications.

Installation

Our backpans can be easily installed within the cavity opening of most curtainwall systems. We offer various depths to properly house installation, which can be factory-installed or filled in the field, depending on the application.

Flexibility

Steel backpans offer significant design flexibility. The gauge and depth of the panel can vary depending on the design intent; gauges typically vary from 22 gauge up to 16 gauge.
